My name is Tamás Szikszai. I was born in Miercurea Ciuc. I graduated from the Márton Áron Theoretical High School in my hometown. I continued my studies at the Faculty of Law of the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, then I obtained my Master’s Degree at the joint programme of the Law Faculty of the University of Pécs (Hungary) and the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, in the field of private community law.

After finishing my formal studies, I started out as a trainee lawyer in Cluj, and later, after having passed my bar examination I came back to Miercurea Ciuc, where I started to work for the town’s leading law firm. Here I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge on company law, labour law, commercial law and in other fields, in an excellent professional and moral environment.

I have been a member of the Romanian Bar Association since 2008. The Tamás Szikszai Law Office was established in February 2010 within the framework of the Cluj County Bar and it has been a member of the Harghita County Bar since 2012.

My professional activity includes legal counselling in case law, constant and long-term commissions, elaborating official documents, custody, legal representation in enforcement proceedings and other legal proceedings. The activity of the law office focuses mainly on legal issues related to the economic life, including the registration of different forms of legal entities, dealing with everyday issues related to their functioning, such as winding up or liquidating a company, or offering legal help in insolvency proceedings.

Besides the above mentioned issues, the Tamás Szikszai Law Office offers legal support in enforcement proceedings, in problems related to real estate, labour law, contraventions, banking law, non-profit organisations, family law and consumer protection, and it also offers representation in civil and company proceedings.
